Stuart Anderson MP has launched his annual Christmas card competition. Now in its second year, Stuart is again inviting children and young people from across his Wolverhampton constituency to take part.
The competition is running from Monday the 1st of November until Monday the 22nd of November. Stuart has written to schools across the constituency to invite entries. Every entrant will receive a signed certificate thanking them for taking part. The design of the winning entry will appear on the front cover of Stuart’s official Christmas card, as well as their name, age, and school if applicable. The card is due to be sent to hundreds of stakeholders, including local partners, MPs, and even the Prime Minister.
Stuart would be delighted to receive entries from all school-aged children from across the constituency of Wolverhampton South West, including those who are home-educated. In particular, Stuart encourages entrants to be as creative and original as possible. He has said that it would be wonderful to capture elements of the local area at Christmastime, such as local places of worship or city monuments.
Steps have been taken to ensure that it is as easy as possible to take part. Entrants can draw their design on a plain piece of paper and send it to Stuart via his email address or constituency office address.
Stuart Anderson MP said: “I’m really delighted to be launching my Christmas card competition for the second year in a row. Last year, I received many excellent designs, and I was thrilled with the winning entry. I am again inviting all children and young people in Wolverhampton South West to submit their creative designs. Every entrant will be receiving a certificate and the winning entry will appear on the front cover of my Christmas card, along with their name, age, and school if applicable. This competition is a great opportunity in the run up to Christmas and will help to spread festive cheer far and wide after a challenging year. One card will even be sent to the Prime Minister himself.”
