Places of Worship

Stuart Anderson MP supports places of worship

As a Christian, I recognise the important role that faith has in the everyday lives of my constituents and the sense of community and public service which it inspires. I am keen to visit and support local places of worship and to highlight the work that they do among Government Ministers and local partners.

I have been delighted to host figures such as Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street and Chairman of the Conservative Party Amanda Milling MP at places of worship across his constituency. I love to visit different places of worship in the local area.

As we look to recover from the outbreak of COVID-19, I want to ensure that places of worship are supported. That is why I am pleased that the Government has brought forward a new £1 million fund to help faith groups support communities. Further details can be found here.

Here are some of the places of worship that Stuart has visited in person or virtually during Covid-19.

  • All Nations Church
  • Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara
  • Jamia Masjid Aqsa Wolverhampton
  • Jamia Masjid Bilal
  • Jewish Community Meeting
  • Nanaksar Thath Isher Darbar
  • Life Spring Church
  • Shree Krishan Mandir
  • St Michael’s
  • Potter’s House Church
  • Ramgarhia Sabha Gurdwara
  • Methodist Church
  • Hindu Temple
  • Virtual Vaisakhi
